Before

A cat sitting on a windowsill watching rain

After
A fluffy orange tabby cat sits gracefully on a wooden windowsill, gazing out through rain-streaked glass. Raindrops trace delicate paths down the window pane, soft daylight filtering through grey clouds outside. The cat's ears twitch subtly, eyes tracking individual droplets with quiet curiosity. 0–4s: Medium close-up on the cat's profile, shallow depth of field blurring the rainy cityscape beyond. Slow push in toward the cat's face, capturing reflective amber eyes. 4–8s: Cut to reverse angle showing rain falling outside, cat silhouette in foreground. Camera holds static, letting the hypnotic rain pattern dominate. 8–12s: Close-up on the cat's paw gently touching the cold glass where a raindrop slides past. Pull back slowly to reveal the cozy interior scene — warm lamp glow contrasting with the cool blue-grey exterior light. Cinematic quality, film grain, warm interior tones against cool exterior palette. Contemplative, meditative mood. Background audio: gentle rain pattering on glass, distant soft thunder rumble, subtle ambient room tone. No music, pure atmospheric sound design.

How it works

  1. 1

    Describe your video

Paste any rough idea — a sentence, paragraph, or detailed brief.

  2. 2

    AI optimizes it

Our engine adds camera language, timing, audio direction, and Seedance syntax.

  3. 3

    Copy and generate

Paste the result directly into Seedance 2.0 for better video generation.

Why structured prompts matter

Seedance 2.0 responds strongly to production-style language: explicit camera moves like a slow push in or an orbit, shot timing broken into seconds, lighting and lens notes, and sound design cues. A casual one-line description leaves most of those decisions to chance, and the model fills the gaps with generic choices.

The optimizer rewrites your idea into that vocabulary automatically — subject and scene detail, camera grammar, per-shot timing markers, and audio direction — so the model spends its capacity executing your intent instead of guessing it. The documentation shows a full before-and-after example.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Seedance 2.0 Prompt Optimizer?

A tool that turns rough video ideas into structured Seedance 2.0 prompts with camera movement, shot timing, and audio direction. You paste an idea, it returns a rewritten prompt ready to use with the model. The docs explain the full workflow.

What is Seedance 2.0?

Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's video generation model. This site is an independent, unofficial helper for writing prompts for it and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance. More background is on the about page.

Does it support Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 was announced by ByteDance on June 23, 2026 and is in closed beta, with public launch expected in early July 2026. No prompt-format changes have been documented, so prompts optimized here already follow the structure Seedance 2.5 is expected to use. Details are on the Seedance 2.5 status page.

Is it free?

Yes. The Basic plan is free and includes 5 optimizations per month. Pro is $4.99/mo for 100 optimizations per month, and Max is $14.99/mo for 250. Full details are on the pricing page.

What does an optimized prompt include?

Subject and scene detail, camera movement such as pans, dolly moves, and tracking shots, shot-by-shot timing markers like "0–4s:", and audio direction for music, ambience, or dialogue.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign-up is free and works with email, Google, or GitHub. An account tracks your monthly usage and saves your prompt history.

Is there a public API or MCP server?

Not yet. If you would use one, email [email protected]. Agents and crawlers can read /llms.txt and /agents.md for a machine-readable summary of this site.

Can I write prompts in Chinese?

Yes. The interface and the optimized output support English and 中文. Write your idea in either language.

How is my data handled?

Prompts you submit are processed by Anthropic's Claude models to generate the optimized version, and results are saved to your account history. See the privacy policy for specifics.
